Firstly the reason that your roof lining is sagging is because of the foam on the material breaking down, this foam will usually either stay stuck to the roof lining panel or in most cases fall off and collect on top of the material which then weighs it down further. This means that you’ll be attempting to glue material (and most likely bits of foam) back onto the roof lining panel. This will make it near impossible for it to adhere properly and if it does, you’ll end up with a bunch of bumps and lumps under the material where the foam has collected into balls.
